Accessibility and covid

my practice is rooted in disability justice. I work to meet my body where it’s at, and to do the same for my clients.

covid

As a chronically ill bodyworker with immunocompromised friends and clients, I continue to maintain a covid conscious practice. Masking is optional. I will wear a mask if you would like, and will have KN95s available if you would like one.

I have an air purifier with a HEPA filter that will be running during the appointment. Please email me with any questions you have regarding covid safety. We keep us safe.

accessibility

The studio is on the second floor of a South Philly row home, near 17th and Porter (you will receive the exact address via email after you book an appointment). It is an 18 minute walk from the BSL Oregon Street Station. If coming from West Philly, you can take the 64 bus, followed by the 2 bus. There is generally ample street parking available on the block during the day. The block should be pretty safe to lock up a bicycle. There are 5 steps to get into the house, and one stair case up to the second floor studio and restroom.

There is a 50 lbs friendly senior Pit mix, she loves meeting new people. You will be asked on your intake form if you would like to be greeted by and interact with her, if not she will be in another part of the house. She does not spend time in the studio.

I don’t use any strong or artificial scents in the studio. There is an air purifier running in the studio to eliminate airborne allergens, but if you have any particular concerns please let me know. I play music through a bluetooth speaker during sessions, but i am always happy to turn it down / off / change the music by request.
